Our boy Booker needs more minutes for the Suns. 3-3 from 3 tonight. He is now at 71.4% on 15-21 shooting from NBA 3 point land. The suns are struggling and its time for Devin Booker to get serious playing time and see how he can do imo.

Update: they gave him 33 minutes last night and he was 2-2 from 3.
71% from nba 3! geezus

I just wonder if this CAT can keep up his shooting all year long? JK! While he's a great shooter and can really shoot the rock, he also goes into slumps that seem to last a while. Let's hope Booker can get more playing time for the Suns and works on his shooting touch and %!

When he's on, he's lights out. If he Can avoid slumps, there's no reason he can't shoot around 50% Iike Kerr, Kapono, Korver... Those guys basically had/have one skill, and it has kept them in the NBA a long time. Booker has more upside than all 3.

That's pretty amazing shooting, albeit still on a somewhat small sample size. I agree he needs to play more. They should play some 3 guard with Bledsoe, Knight and Booker together but I'd imagine that puts a strain on the defensive end due to size or lack there of for those 3.

Sounds like the Booker we saw in Dec/Jan. Unfortunately, Feb/March Booker shot 29% from three. Hit the wall.

I swear his 3pt % changed from 68.6 % to 71.4% in the last 10 minutes. I checked it earlier and it said 68.4 and now its 71% lol. He keeps rising lmao

Dude, you're gonna drive yourself crazy updating that not only every game, but every time he hits one. [winking]

Yeah it was very disconcerting that our most reliable 3 point shooters last year in March were Ulis and.....Andrew Harrison? Yup, he was clearly shooting the 2nd best overall that time of year, and even Aaron stepped it up a lot in the post-season.

Yep- we had some shooters last year and shot well % wise. I wish Cal would've emphasized outside shooting more with that team, actually.

Man, pretty torn.. I love it for him, and he'll definitely have a spot on the roster, maybe even the lineup.. But where the hell was this from Feb on?! God, we would be 40-0 and absolutely SMOKED teams if he was shooting JUST 43%.. Jesus, if he shot 71% like he's doing now... 25-35pt wins throughout the tournament?

I still think he should have been on the floor the last 5 min against Wis.

I know only one person who can shoot the rock with that kind of pinpoint accuracy. Surprisingly he posts on this board. Ill let the rest work itself out

Yep... and just think if we had a consistent shooter like that on THIS years team.. Damn... I embrace one-and-done, but it will definitely drive you nuts if you let it.

was getting abused on defense, couldn't play him.

Still think he had the best looking shot of any UK player I can recall (memory dates to 1976-77), and if he'd stayed around, would've proved to be the best shooter in that time frame.....
