Bolden to stay

K promised him 5 minutes a game next year instead of 2. Maybe Bamba to Duke is a pipe dream after all.

Probably the best move for him. He didn't get on the court because he didn't perform, he didn't put the work in. If a guy his size has any kind of work ethic and determination, he ain't riding the pine when his team desperately needs a guy with the tools he has.
Him threatening to leave is telling everyone that it was the coaches fault and not his.

He was/is very fragile considering his mommy and all. I'm sure K and mommy had a conversation.
That being said I like the idea that perhaps Duke feels Bomba is ours.

This whole thing should come to no surprise. I don't think Bolden got enough attention with his decision so he went for a little more. He probably read rupp rafters and was like "$hit I messed up, what else can I do for attention?"

Did anyone actually see this kid sitting out a year? I mean, he was sold on being a OAD. One more year of sitting out, plus another year at his new school. I thought it was far-fetched from the get go. Kid has too big of an ego to sit out a full year and end up staying two full years past his original departure time.

I like how in the statement it mentioned he didn't play in the tournament due to an illness. Must have had an "illness" all season too.

Why Bamba would want to get in that circus is beyond me. He's a one year player, so you'd think he'd want to do that one year with his buddies. You'd also think, that, when he joins the league he'd want to quickly become friends or at least have something in common for the rest of his life with Davis, Boogie, Noel, Towns, etc....
