Black patent leather waistbands?

Really inconsequential.....but what the heck is around the waistbands of our uniforms? Ridiculous but game was superb.

That is just the inside band of their shorts that is rolled over. The rubber like material helps to keep jersey's tucked in.

Thank you!!! This 66 year old woman had no clue. Thought it was a new fashion trend that I wasn't going to emulate! Love the kids though.

It is very kind of you to offer me encouragement for further postings. I have loved the Cats since 1971 when I met my future husband. He is an Owensboro, KY native and was born into a UK family. We have never faltered in our support and public display of our dedication for the Big Blue. Evansville, IN is mostly skewed toward that team in Bloomington. But for 40 years, my special education classroom was full of my Kentucky memorabilia and my kids loved it. Plus I never taught a day without wearing something UK. Even had my "professional" clothes embroidered with a UK logo. I know enough about basketball to annoy a lot of young guys who can't believe I can keep up with them when they talk ball. However, things get pretty intimidating on here at times and I really don't want to get in over my head. And I probably won't post if this post is so off topic that people fuss about it. But I sure do love reading and learning from all those who understand the game. And will always be a loyal Kentucky fan and proud member of the BBN.

It's all good @Teaucat and that is great fan support that you wore something UK on every day that you taught. Both my mom and girlfriend are teachers, and I've got nothing but respect for the hard work that goes into education. Enjoy the board, and Go Big Blue!!
