Don't see us doing a white out unless we elect to wear white uniforms, which I also don't see happening.
I'm betting no blackout either, they're going to save that for Tennessee on Halloween I would think. I'm betting they do something like "Wear blue!!!!!" and then the team wears our combo from Miss. State last year; chrome/blue/gray

I agree that a white-out would look sweet under the lights. I would really like to see the Chrome/Black/Black uniforms, but I see them saving that set for on down the road. Personally, I'd like to see White/Black/White on Saturday, but I'm not sure UK would ever do it.
boys our fanbase has had this game circled on the calendar since last year's playclock screwjob. aint no need for any gimmicky color-out artificial excitement maker for this 'un to be a special electric atmosphere on Sat night.
This is a huge recruiting weekend, you can bank on us breaking out some uniforms that grab the recruits attention.

They were asking him about the game this coming Saturday and I can't remember exactly what he said but he said it was going to be crazy at commonwealth because of a blackout or whatever.
Not much on this kind of thing, but then why not. As another posted noted though I don't think anyone who's been a UK football fan to any degree doesn't know that UK hasn't beaten Florida in football since Reagan was president. That none of the player's on either team were even born the last time it happened. A lot of their parents hadn't even met. I think the crowd will have bloodlust in their eyes and hearts regardless of what they wear. I'd guess for many of us it's the game we most want to see UK win. It would also help get this season off to a great start. We could be half way to a bowl with another game still to play in September.
Yes, lets all be old closed minded people with no imagination and stuck in a past that no one wants to remember. Either get on the train or leave the station no one wants this kinda negativity in the fan base anymore. Gimmicks get recruits talking, your sense of old school style doesn't.

I'm open to the new uniforms. But if they aren't asking us to wear a particular color, then we should all wear blue. It's amazing to me how many fans wear black, white, or gray to the games.

We play Tennessee on Halloween night - so I'd say if that is the blackout game this season (all black with chrome helmets maybe?).

They are wearing the chrome helmets they wore in the South Carolina game last year and hopefully they will also have a blackout which create a unique look when the light reflect on them! By the way that combo last year was voted the best College football uniform of the year!

I'm thinking that it will be blue pants, blue jerseys, and chrome blue helmets w/ blue facemasks, and white UK logo.
A blue out would be in line with the tweet PT just sent out. "Head to toe, blue out"!
