He has gotten worse with each game, every close call for UK and he was ready to lose his shit, but the close calls against UK were all ok and understandable, ESPN can GGF and DIAF, how many years of this shit going on before we catch on because they have to be laughing at us by now.

Bilas did the Kansas game too and never pointed out the bad calls made against us.

It was Bilas' fault that we lost. He and the refs didn't do enough for us to be successful.
Nobody said that. I should be able to watch a neutral color analyst.
I watched the whole game. I didn't hear all of the bias...

I like Bilas in an interview setting. As an analyst, he's getting worse, and tonight he was very biased to the home team.
Bilas has done nothing but show respect for our program.
I like Bilas, but what I have noticed tonight and in some non-UK games, he picks some bad examples to express his agenda. The charge call he went off on tonight was actually a pretty close call that could of went either way. If he would of waited a couple of plays down the floor he would of had a better example on the Briscoe charge that was an obvious block. That is not from my UK bias either. I've seen him go off in other games over things that he doesn't like, but instead of waiting for the right "missed" call to express his disagreement, he jumps the gun.
My opinion too. He is good, but tonight he was off-his-game.

I use to find him more on the likable side of the spectrum, but lately he's just been horrible. He's been a full-on Dukie douche recently...
I think Bilas does an overall good job but the past few games of ours he has done he seems to be quick to point out bad calls going our way and then completely ignores the ones going the other way. Tonight he was especially bad, don't know why but it was true-Indy

I can agree with this. ESPN has too many dinosaurs on the payroll. At least Bilas gives a little youth to the programming. And anyone is better than Dukie V.
He was awful. I'm against charge calls 99% of the time and even I thought the one Ulis took was pretty legitimate and he acted as though it was the most egregious call he's ever seen. Really has taken a HUGE step back in terms of his analysis... sad to see.

Bilas is the best college basketball guy ESPN has - which doesn't mean he's perfect. He has a bias in favor of coaches, he will,always take the coach's side in any controversy or discussion. And as a color guy, he refuses to admit when a replay proves his initial call wrong. Billy Packer used to do that. Instead of seeing the replay and saying "guess I got that wrong," he doubles down.

Typical uk fans- if someone doesn't say everything good about UK then they are clearly against UK.
Bilas could be our cheerleader and it wouldn't change the fact that he's a piss poor analyst. Those tooting his horn just think it's the cool thing to do because he's on a crusade to take down the NCAA. He's a fraction of his former self.
That's my biggest fault with Bilas. I watched a Syracuse game a while back and he went "off" on a call that the replay showed was the correct call by the referee. He never once backtracked and I was disappointed . He is one of the best in the games and he should know there are some obvious calls throughout a game that you can choose to push your agenda. He actually would of been much better off waiting two plays and pointing out the Briscoe charge that was an obvious block. The Ullis play was way too close to go off on a rant like that.
Nobody contesting that. It's just that he's annoying to a bunch if people. People that I'm glad are finally catching on because I've been saying this for years.
Yeah sometimes he's right about incorrect officiating but to hear him bitch about half the calls just gets old. Tonight found a way to whine about Grayson Allen not getting a call in a totally unrelated game.
I think he came around towards the end a little but overall wouldn't care if he ever called a UK game again.
