big Z

I'm kind of whatever about it. We got 2 of our 3 bigs back and I think that's more than enough to win the title. Even if he gets cleared this week, which is doubtful anyways, he's not going to play until the 2nd semester. It's going to take a while to ramp him up. I don't see Big Z being any sort of factor for us at this point.

I've long given up on the NCAA doing the right thing, and I'll take solace knowing they are still pissed we were able to make a front court despite them trying everything they can to stymie us.

Feel bad for Big Z, wasting his time with this whole mess. The NCAA tried to screw UK (it didn't really matter, in the end) and instead they just screwed the player and any future international players who are thinking of coming here. Congrats NCAA, your spitefullness only wound up hurting yourselves.

I don't know the answer whether Z has returned but I have a theory if he hasn't yet.

If Z does not return the NCAA will announce he is cleared in mid-January as they know it will be too late and won't matter. If he returns he will not be cleared.

P.S. not to offend the above posts but for me the response we already have 2 bigs or he wouldn't play misses the point. It should be about us seeing that Z is treated fairly and with respect as wanting to play at Kentucky. The NCAA has no excuse for what they have done concerning him. None as you can look at way more about who they have cleared or ignored programs that have done awful things.

That would be some shit, wouldn't it? It's February 26th, he's been back home for 2 months and already told us there's no point for him to remain in the US.

And the NCAA is like "ok we cleared him!" .

Honestly wouldn't be surprised. I think they are this spitefull towards us.

Some analysts believe he will be a difference maker, some don’t. One thing I do know, he’s somewhat of a unicorn, at the collegiate level. He’s what, 7’2” with guard skills and can shoot the 3?! I, for one, would be thrilled to have him at our disposal.
Not even a question, he has a spot on our team and would make us better even if it is in a small amount of minutes in some games. I would be thrilled too especially for him but it would boost morale for our special team. It would be complete.

Go Cats!

Wouldn't it be great if Big Z could fake out the NCAA "pin heads" and say he wasn't coming back, then get cleared and come play for us!!

It’s just a flipping shame the kid has done all he needs to do supposedly and the gutless and worthless NCAA couldn’t get him cleared in a time frame that several other players both foreign and national have been . If the NCAA ceased to exist tomorrow it would be none to soon !

He would've been eligible for Puke, Jailhawks,UNCheats etc. From day 1.
You are correct and there’s no doubt in my mind! If Marvin Bagley could go to four different high schools and needed what he needed his senior year to graduate and wasn’t even questioned when he enrolled at Dook Big Z would have been eligible from the time he said I am going to Dook
