A bunch of players just tweeted this, but some deleted it, I would guess they were told not to say anything yet. We'll see what it is tomorrow, but I suspect its jerseys like @Braximus12 said.

I read a report that said players are only getting 4.85 for every jersey sold. The jerseys are selling for 145.00 at other schools. Crazy.
Nike does have a top 10 team in UK. If the season goes well, Nike could have UK and UGA playing for the SEC East.

Will they still get money if we buy a plain jersey? I don’t wanna be caught in public wearing a football jersey but at home on Gameday I’d wear one. Would just be a little strange having Afari or Rodriguez on the back.
I would assume the school would get something but players would only get money if a jersey has their name on it.

Have the rules changed again? I thought there was something that players could not benefit from anything with a UK logo...but then again, this NIL stuff seems to change all the time.

Only one fanbase of the schools that did this deal with Nike and Fanatics are mad about it. Welcome to Cats Illustrated where "fans" specialize in tearing down the school, the administration, coaches, players, former coaches, and former players. What a miserable group.
Just to be clear, you support players getting $4.85 out of $145 paid by the public for a jersey.
Yep the money goes into the athletic department that pays for the stadium, facilities and all othe amenities for the players.
