"BBN, we got some HUGE NIL news coming out tomorrow that involves our whole team, going to need your support... #ForTheTeam"What did it say?
Players. This one specific tweet was McClain.who originally tweeted this? Was it a company, UK athletics, a fan?
Interesting. Hopefully it's good news. We have way too much momentum to let it go because of NIL.Players. This one specific tweet was McClain.

Because the athletic department profits at the same time. Our administration who doesn't support NIL has an NIL agreement with Nike and Fanatics to sell officially licensed UK jerseys with players name that they will profit from.
I would assume the school would get something but players would only get money if a jersey has their name on it.Will they still get money if we buy a plain jersey? I don’t wanna be caught in public wearing a football jersey but at home on Gameday I’d wear one. Would just be a little strange having Afari or Rodriguez on the back.
The school would be getting a percentage of jersey sales. Athletes only get 4.85 a jersey.Have the rules changed again? I thought there was something that players could not benefit from anything with a UK logo...but then again, this NIL stuff seems to change all the time.
Just to be clear, you support players getting $4.85 out of $145 paid by the public for a jersey.Only one fanbase of the schools that did this deal with Nike and Fanatics are mad about it. Welcome to Cats Illustrated where "fans" specialize in tearing down the school, the administration, coaches, players, former coaches, and former players. What a miserable group.
Yep the money goes into the athletic department that pays for the stadium, facilities and all othe amenities for the players.Because the athletic department profits at the same time.
