best way to buy SEC tournament ticket recommendations

Hang out at the bars after the first couple games. When you see a fan of a team that just lost, strike up a conversation and try to buy their ticket book from them.

Sell a body part on the black market. I know a guy if you need one.

Yes^^^^^.....I have bought a single ticket to one of the early games and then once inside, the losing team will sell their books to you. Do NOT wear any UK stuff, though. Other SEC Schools overcharge UK fans....

Wait until the game has started. Five mins in, give a scalper half of what he's asking with a max of $50.

I have a pair of upper level for the entire tourney that I am selling.
I don't 100% know where the seats are because I haven't gotten the damn ticket book yet.
if anyone is interested.

We bought our tickets here:
https://uberseat.com/search?q=sec+basketball+tournament

Had them in 4 days. Yes they are expensive, but they are guaranteed and no additional fees.

Best buy on the site are these:

Wish they were available when we bought ours.

SEC tourney virgin here with questions

I recently moved to Nashville area so accomadations are not a problem. My question is for you vets, what is the best way to get tickets considering I don't have them now. I have Friday off, and I have Wednesday off but I work Thursday. I could realistically make it downtown around 2-3pm on wednesday, and by 6-7 on Thursday. I will be at the Tin roof show Friday morning as well. So what are my best shots at acquiring tickets? What ballpark figure am I looking at? What would you consider reasonable to pay? Thanks so much for any advice

Re: SEC tourney virgin here with questions

I always go the very first games. When you notice that a team is losing, hang out in that section, ask to buy the rest of their tournament tickets if they are heading home. Don't wear UK gear. This has worked every single year without fail. Lower level tickets are $425 for the book, upper level $360, just make sure you have cash. I am willing to pay up to $500 a book, so if you offer someone $150 profit for two tickets and they get their money back and got to see their team play, it works out well. Good luck.

Re: SEC tourney virgin here with questions

That is probably the best method, but keep in mind you'll be competing with countless other UK fans as well as scalpers. Scalpers are very aggressive. My best method is to actually go down into the section before the game ends and try to buddy up with fans. That way you can maybe have first shot at them before they get closer to the top of the section where it's complete mayhem.

Outside of that, you almost have to get lucky. It's tough.

Oh yeah...there are plenty of full books on craigslist for ~$500 a piece. Cheaper than most on stubhub that's for sure.
