Who do you think is the best team in the nation at this point in the season? I would go with Ohio State. I wonder if they will get a challenge this week.

It’s Georgia until it isn’t.

They looked bad the same day UT looked real good and knocked off Bama and it made the national media dismiss UGA as well and start acting like the East is all but sure for UT.

My bet is UGA beats UF by 14+ (more than UT did at home) and then they play a one possession game in the 30s against UT

No shock I’m sure but if Georgia plays their A game they are better than anyone else that plays their A game. The big thing is that doesn’t always happen so there are 4-5 teams that could be there at the end.

Georgia.

the Other State U in Columbus OH won't be (shouldn't be) challenged until they play Michigan. Still won't be anything like playing an SEC schedule and they'll be rewarded for a softer schedule even if they and MI both finish with 1 loss.

The only question I have is whether Georgia can stay healthy enough to win another title this year.

Even if they do somehow stay undefeated, staying healthy enough to repeat is another story entirely with their schedule and an SEC Title game. It might be better for them to rest their starters and lose to us than to win and play in the SECCG. I don't see them losing to UT, though, so they might be in the title game regardless.

I think they beat UT by 21.

I go with UGA for now. Lots of good receivers. Their D is improving every week.
The first CFP rankings come out next Tuesday.

After this bye? Kentucky
Get Robinson and Flax back. Weaver and CRod have been back but were rusty.
Levis, though certainly not 100% with the turf toe will be much better off heading to Knoxville.
Buckle your seat belts fellas this team is READY!!!!
Sat night cant get here soon enough!

Wish we had Jones back also but heard he will be back for UGA so that will help !

Overall, after 7 games including 4 SEC games v teams ranked when we played them or are ranked now Id say UK is good in the health dept. No team is going to play the schedule UK has and not get dinged up a bit.

What’s atypical about an OSU team is they’re beating everyone by a score that justifies their rank. However, I’ll take UGA vs anyone and consider them #1, UT vs OSU vs Bama as an even matchup. Everyone else is a distant 5th.

The two best teams I've seen are Georgia and Ohio State. Michigan looks tough.

Alabama, honestly hasn't looked sharp at all this year - their loss to Tennessee has really over-valued Tennessee. It will be interesting to see if the Tide gets their crap together this season. I don't think they do personally.

The reigning NCAA champs until proven otherwise, with tOSU a close 2nd. Botb will have opportunities left in the regular season to solidify their positions at the top with the tOSU-Michigan game, and with UGA still having UT at home and @ UK. If both finish 12-0 then I would expect UGA to have the #1 seed in the CFP, especially if they defeat Bama (or LSU) in the SECCG.

The amount of talent across the board for both UGA and tOSU is unmatched across their entire rosters, except maybe from Bama, and both are very well coached. They almost have to beat themselves while their opponents will have to play near perfect games for the full 60 minutes.

I think UGA may be the new dynasty and Alabama is falling off a bit. We'll know a lot more after this week and next. Right now I'd pick UGA.

Bit early for that. If alabama was healthy last year don't think you would be able to say that as I am not convinced at all UGA outscored Bama with its two stud wide teceivers.

UGA and OSU are probably the two best teams in the nation right now. OSU really hasn't played anyone, but that changes this Saturday @ PSU.

SEC the next best thing to the NFL

Let's be real ,it may well be UT based on their play the last 3 weeks. We have a decent shot at beating UGA if we are healthy, UT is another matter. We will have played a great game if we hold them to 35 points or less. I don't like it at all but it is what it is

Ranked 13th I believe, so for the Big10 that's as good as it gets other than Michigan.
True , but they certainly wouldn’t be ranked 13th if they played an sec schedule. I am hoping they pull this off though. Even if I do despise Franklin, lol .

If we hold them to 35 we have a pretty good chance of winning. But I don’t see that happening. I look for them to score 42 to 45 . Their defense forces quarterbacks to make quick decisions, something Will is not very good at . I believe Will is going to throw a pick or two giving them good field position.
