Who was considered UK's best player when you first started following them closely? For me, it was Billy Ray Lickert in the 1959-60 season.

I started following the Cats in 1957 and I watched a lot of great players(listened to Caywood describe) but Dan Issell was and still is the best! In modern times "The Brow" is by far the best.
I'm a lucky man in that I've seen some great players!

Hmm. Bowie was injured. So probably Turpin. Although "Sky" Walker was my favorite even as a FR on that team.
The next year Bowie played, and may have been the best player on that team.
