Try Varallo's for breakfast and lunch. It is located on 4th Street and is the oldest restaurant in Tennessee. Founded 1907. Known for "Chile" and breakfasts. Open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Merchants, Southern Steak and oysters. They'll probably be crowded for the tournament, go early or check for reservations.

Pucketts at 5th and Church. You can make reservations. Southern cooking with great steaks.

Every bar, pub, honkey tonk or restaurant downtown will be packed with cat fans. Its fun but also difficult do to the amount of people to find someplace to eat or drink.

The Loveless Cafe is really good, don't know directions as haven't been back to Nashville since my brother graduated from Vandy...If you get time check out the IMAX in the area, best IMAX experience of all the ones I've been too. Miss not going to Nashville infinite things to do on any given night....
