thank goodness Cal took out Brick Briscoe and put in a proven shooter and rebounder.

The half-court game is Briscoe's weakness. If he can't get a run out then he is useless on the offensive end with teams sagging off. Mulder looks good and is rebounding well.

Mulder is the second leading scorer, has zero TOs and leading rebounder playing just 7 minutes. If he doesn't get lots more minutes in the second half something is wrong.

He's got 6 rebounds and I'm not sure he's jumped for one yet. He just anticipates where the ball is going and goes to get it. He had 7 rebounds in 28 minutes coming in, so apparently he's pretty good at that. He looks slow on defense, but he can make a shot.

The key with Mulder is his D is weak enough that if he isn't hitting shots and rebounding, he can't help us.

If he continues to play like he has tonight, however, he should get more minutes down the road.
