Beau Allen stats

I'd take that all day every day. Sprinkle a big game in there every 3 games or so when needed and you got yourself a Heisman Trophy winner....lol

Damn… that’s pretty solid…

Anybody know why Tarleton was where he ended up, was there some connection?

"The president of Tarleton State is James Hurley. He graduated from UPike and Morehead and was the president at UPike for a while." -from a comment on KSRadio

-Instant playing time (might have had to sit elsewhere since he entered the portal late)
-Other QBs have done well in their offense

I'm thankful for this young man. We would not have had the success we have had without him. He recruited some great players to UK when he was just a recruit himself and could've gone somewhere other than UK, but didn't. I'm very disappointed it didn't work out for him here, but hope he lights it up there.

Would love to see TSU burn TCU for the upset

I could see Beau moving up from TSU for a super sr. yr.
I think with continued game experience at Tarelton, he could possibly move back to P5 as an Air Raid QB.
Feel free to call me crazy (probably deserved) but is it possible he does down there, gets a bunch of game reps, then comes back here for one more season?

You are crazy. The reasons he was passed and was 3rd or 4th on the depth chart before fall camp ain't changing in 1 great yr playing 1-AA football.

Plus I'm sure Stoops & Scan want a portal QB to be available 2 yrs, not just 1. Bring in a senior QB fir 2023 then we are in the same damn boat 365 days from now, shopping for a new QB for 2024.

If he keeps it up, is there any chance he could transfer back next year to take over after Levis goes to the draft?
Not a chance. We will get someone better out of the portal plus Deuce Hogan will be back and he is better than Beau.

There is a chance that he transfers again after this season. Someone said they run an air raid style offense there. If true, he could be a candidate for a G6 school that does the same. Getting on the field and having game reps was smart. He evidently does not have the arm for a top P5 program, but I could see him in the sunbelt or some other smaller league next season.

Transferring again does nothing for him in terms of college career success nor slim shot at even just a pro try out, unless it’s to a decent P5 with guaranteed playing time. Even then the situation would have to be perfect in terms of offense, o line, etc…going to a shit show and getting wrecked isn’t the play.

He appears to be on a trajectory to rack up program and conference records. I would consider leaving that for a mid tier P5 program that gets good TV time and has their shit together..not Troy or Middle Tenn.

Ga Tech job supposed to come open today, probably Colorado and Colorado St within 2 weeks. Best for BA to stay where he is.

Transferring again would be about level of competition for someone who is competitive. For someone who may want to be a coach, it would give him more experience with another OC.

West Virginia with Neil could happen. Wouldn’t count out Purdue or WKU.

A lot of fans on here would rather watch him than the #1 or #2 NFL draft prospect we have here. Never seen so many complain about one of the top Qbs in the country that we have here now.
