I have been to LSU for a Cats football game but it was about 15 years ago. I am heading down for the Cats @ LSU next month and wondered if anyone had any spots I should definitely check out while in Baton Rouge for a day in ways of bars/restaurants? Going to be in New Orleans a few days prior and head over to Baton Rouge on game day. Also, plan on buying tickets before hand but anyone been there for Cats game in the past and have any experience getting tickets outside the arena? Thanks for any and all input.

Red Fish Grill in the French Quarter, you can literally close you eyes and point to anything on the menu and be very pleased!
In Baton Rouge there's a place by the mall that I can't think of the name of but you can't go wrong there either. Its on the northwest side across the street from the mall.
