Basketball Picture Day at Craft Center

KSR has some pictures posted from basketball picture day. Unis appear to be identical to last year's, which kind of aggravates me.

Duke is the only other Nike school that I know of that has posted pictures of their new uniforms and theirs have been changed.

I thought the uniforms were changed up slightly every year?

Can you name a year that we've changed uniforms in the pre-season? I'm not sure that we have since Cal has been here.

My recollection is they change every year. But the pics show the freshmen in uniform with their names on the back of the jersey, and they're identical to last year's, so I assume these are the jerseys we'll start the year with. I'm not particularly a fan of the checkerboard motif stuff.

On another note, nice to see Murray and Humphries in uniform.

We've switched jerseys once in the preseason during the Cal era and it was last year. We probably won't again for at least 3 or 4 years.

I thought we used these uniforms shown in the pictures in the NCAA tournament in 2014 as well?

No, the ones we used in 14 were the same we had used since halfway through the 2010 season with Wall and co. This had trim on the shoulders and the shorts had a big white block stripe on the side. Last year's didn't have the trim and the shorts were different then we changed to the hyper elites midway through SEC which were slightly different.

Cool, it's always nice to see the new players wearing the uniforms.

It's good to see the new recruits in uniform finally, I don't get hung up on uniforms because I don't have any say over it anyway, just as long as their Kentucky Blue, home and away

I remember we wore these uniforms for like...3-4 years in early 2000s...or so it seemed. Classic look, and my favorite jerseys in the last 20 years.
