Towles is not UK's only problem. Problems abound at just about every poaition. The collapse in effort by fhe whole team can't be blamed on Towles alone.
HOWEVER, fhere is the remote possibility that a change at the leadership position, QB, could give the team an uplift in energy and effort, a feeling of a fresh start--enough to win out these last three not-too-difficult games. And find a pass rusher somewhere in the house. Maybe pull a fan out of the upper tiers?
WIith this season down the sewer without these wins, seems to me there isn't a lot to lose by giving Barker a start against Wandy. As the team is playing now, without any enthusiasm, they will lose to Lowly Vandy by 2 or 3 TDs.
I am by no means convinced that Barker is THE answer, but since our staff seems to have no answers.....
