Bama coming to Lexington next year

We only lose about ten to graduation. So we get the 3 or 4 key position transfers we should be really good again.

The thing is teams like Scal, ATM, Miami are 3 teams tampering, keeping them and what they are willing to pay away from your players who have had success is harder than recruiting them out of HS. We have had 2 who left and a 3rd who came back. FSU writers said they had been working on Mims since signing day and had a great package for him. Portal is much dirtier than recruiting.

USC literally bought the best WR in college football from under Pitt. Miami did the same with a kid who would have started for us in 21, Bama took one of our WR this off season.

We're gonna be breaking in a new QB who knows what that will bring. Glad we play Bama later and not early
By November 11, our QB will have about 9 games under his belt. hopefully the "break-in" process will have been completed by then.

If they don't have one they feel good about on campus one of their fans will contact a QB on another team and offer him a good NIL deal to transfer.

Other team can just match the NIL. It's simple really.

On the game, UK will be defending their sec title against Bama so Bama will be out for blood in Lexington next year.

That doesn't seem to be working to well against them. They brought in nearly half their offensive starter this year. Deal is done before anyone knows about it.

Think it's a bad year for the second part.

Bama won’t have Bryce young, they will just have some other 5 star QB so bring ‘em on. And it’s funny than the football team has their schedule already for next year, but the basketball team doesn’t even have theirs down yet for a season that starts in like a month and a half pretty much

Haha, look around for the best freshman starting QB in CFB of 2022, and you have found Bama's 2023 starting QB

Maybe soph, the player development there is down. With the way they recruit shouldn't have to be hitting the portal as hard as they are every year.

Yes correct. But a couple of variables to that at UK. We will get 3 or 4 good transfers to help off set. And second, something about Stoops culture here. He has got the program where most of the good players stay because of the culture. Guys like Marrow and White could go anywhere, but stay. Probably a little different here than a lot of places. People like it here. And the ones that leave off and on, players or coaches, are replaced with quality.

You think UGA doesn't have all of those things, yet those teams mentioned still contact our players through back channels. 2 kids who would have started for us were convinced to hit the portal. No program is safe from losing a starter or even an all conference type player when out of no where a kid hits the portal and says he is transferring to school X. If Bama thinks they need a QB for 23, don't be shocked to see a starter from somewhere transfer there from out of the blue.

Yep and thats because school x has promised x amount of $$$$ for aforementioned starter. Tradition, coaches and quality of program will oft times give way to cold cash in this new era of NIL.

That's why I said you are correct. And I don't like it either. Definitely not right in amatuer sports. Second year in it could be much different than the first year and be even worse. I am just saying that we are on as stable ground as we can be to attract a few good transfers because of coaching development and culture. We will not be destroyed by it like some lesser programs will.

Obviously you all can withstand better than us because your talent is twice ours. Hopefully it gets fixed next year so it doesn't have time to get much worse than what it already is. Being in the SEC is hard enough to worry about and having a stable roster should be the least of the coaches worry.

That's all anyone can say now. Kirby is promoting getting players to the NFL, but the reality is many of these kids come from backgrounds of never having any money in their pockets and the idea of a few dollars in their pockets is all they see.

Good or bad, UGA is following the same method UK is on NIL, by r we warding players currently on the roster over paying HS kids to sign. And it has cost some kids, one is the OL committed to UL. He told our staff what the UL offer was and if we wanted him to match it. Kirby told him if that was what it took he better sign with UL.
