Bam, Monk, Win Over Duke...Just Need

My sport's world has been pretty tough lately. My two baseball teams the Reds and Rockies were pretty much the worse teams in the game. Our football Cat's who I thought were going to make a mark now have to win their last 2 just to get to a meaningless bowl as most of them are. I'd change it to where any team not at least .500 in their conference doesn't deserve one, but that's just me and another topic.. My Rams are pretty much in the same position, and last Sunday I witnessed the demise of an all time great. Bronco fans, Indy fans, and football fans in general had to be sad to witness that. I sure as heck was. Damn glad Bowlen brought him here though. It was worth every penny SB loss to Seattle and all.

Then there's UK basketball. Liike a bright light at the end of a dark tunnel. Cal has rebuilt it yet again, and it was so very gratifying to watch them beat down the Almighty Duke, and have their coach sing their praises. What perhaps he didn't realize in his praise of Ulis was that he's not a freshmen. He's a sophomore, and a couple of those other guys named Poythress and Lee have been around a bit to. Oh sure, we've got some great freshmen but those 3, and yes I still believe Dwill are the foundation of this team, one that's hungry to get what last year's team didn't even if they take some lumps along the way. 38-0 was great, but I freely admit I want #9 more than that. The game last night makes me think it could happen. I hate winter at this point in my life, but I love college basketball season!
