I personally don't think so, and hadn't even considered it. But I keep reading A LOT of people on this board saying we don't get both.

There's a great chance Bam signs an agent at some point and all of this talk is for not.

But let's say he comes back.

I feel like Bamba starts on any team in the nation. Is he really considering that he might not succeed at UK if Bam is here?

I don't think Bam considers Bamba at all, and we likely see Bamba wait until rosters are more locked in.

But, would like to hear the consensus of the board

I just don't think it will happen. If anyone could pull that Cal could, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

As long as we have one or the other, I'll be thrilled. Losing both would really hurt. But there's two other 5-star centers unsigned, and if Cal had any inkling we'd lose Bam and miss out on Bamba, he'd likely be recruiting another big man.

It seems like a lot of people prefer Bamba over Bam, and I know another rim-protector would be nice, but I think Bam could have a monster year playing beside a workhorse like Washington and with Vanderbilt patrolling the lane. It looks like this is going to be a better shooting team this year too, so less double-teams and maulings when he posts up.

Just give me one of them. I don't particularly care which one. But both aren't happening.

I would love to see Bam come back. We witnessed his evolution and better understanding of the game.( No more junk food). Those increases in production, and playing aggressive without fouling was timely. I like to witness when a player finally 'gets it'. With Bam I can't wait to see him improve after another season. I see him top ten, top 5 if he develops a reliable jumpsuit.
Bamba is very intriguing. His measurements are out of this world. With our incoming class of big men, those battles day in and day out will only make our frontcourt special.

One would be great. Getting both would be just unfathomably awesome.

Getting neither would be a major letdown and in all likelihood would probably curb any national title hopes for next season.

Gun to my head give me bam back. I have faith that he could come back and play the four while Richards could play the five or bam could be the 5 and take your pick at four. Quite frankly I'm tired of waiting on bamba to make his decision nothing we can say or do is going to change it. If he wants to go play for an awful team in Texas because him and the coach are tight than more power to him. He has the opportunity to play for the winningest program of all time, a hof coach, and two of his best friends. If all that isn't good enough to commit to then good luck and enjoy your 12 win season. Bams decision should have zero affect on bamba as they would both start and play 40 mins a game every game if they wanted to. I'm just tired of the waiting game make up your mind and do what you're going to do

Bam is too small to play the 5, but lacks the skill set & athletasicism for the 4. Thus he is sliding on the mock draft boards, IMHO.

Bamba is a game changer. Bam is just a nice piece to the puzzle. Give me Bamba hands down.
