If one takes a statement prefaced with "probably" and rationalized with "I don't want to" and "I'd like" as even in the neighborhood of a promise any resulting disappointment was 95% generated between their own two ears.
I'd say the other 5% was also very hyped up and less than reasoned but would have some overwrought basis.
Any word in that circle about Bagley trying to get into the draft next year, without ever playing in college?
I assume it's not academically possible, but he would be old enough. And, obviously, near the top of the draft, college or no college.
Is Cal recruiting him? Enough said. I'll sit back and watch. Trust in CAL.
I think that's what he meant but I can see where someone could get confused. Arizona already has 2 five stars for the 18-19 class. I think he was talking about adding Bagley to that mix.
Guess that's right. Wasn't really thinking about it.
It's easy to get so focused on the top of the class that it surprises me when I see that 12 of ESPN's top 60 for 2018 have already committed.
