You guys in Central Ky hunker down it sounds like Campbellsville may get a tornado.
Be careful Big Blue.

Rumbled thru here with tornado warnings but not big deal. I'm about 40 mins south west of Campbellsville.

Predicting an ominous Blue storm to hit Lexington around 11 am on Saturday...

Hope all is well.

Heavy storms chased me all the way across southern IL and Indiana this afternoon...it wasn't fun.

In my imagination, you're a Looney tunes character and the storm is a lone grey cloud chasing you to and fro with an evil laugh.

2.5" of rain last night. Clear blue now and almost 60. Winter storms usually bring a cold front. Very odd.

Here's Robert Frost talking about his orchard going into winter.

I don't want it stirred by the heat of the sun.
(We made it secure against being, I hope,
By setting it out on a northerly slope.)
No orchard's the worse for the wintriest storm;
But one thing about it, it mustn't get warm.
"How often already you've had to be told,
Keep cold, young orchard. Good-bye and keep cold.
Dread fifty above more than fifty below."

We had a tornado here in Pendleton County last night, blew over some mobile homes and a barn or two.

Im loving El Nino this year!
Yes and No,I don't remember a Christmas this warm, while I prefer warm weather to cold,we still have decent grass in the pasture for livestock here in Northern Ky,but you can bet that crops and gardens will have insect problems next year without a good hard freeze to kill them down,.
