Awesome vid of OC Dawson mic'ed up in practice

Love how he is challenging them to throw into tight windows and forcing them to really lead the WRs on those bubble screens...

They will see what they are capable of in practice and have more confidence in the games.

I'm sure Brown did it as well as he could. But can't help but thinking that Dawson is going to really coach up our quarterback play by giving them more of an experienced hands-on instruction that they did not get the last 2 yrs.

I like his energy. With Towles and Barker he has two arms that can throw the ball into tight windows. Joker used to talk about throwing the ball into tight windows, stating that at the SEC level, a football's lenght opening was considered a good window to throw into and he got Hartline into that by his senior year. Maybe Dawson can do that for Towles and Barker. We know Towles has the arm to do it. I haven't seen Barker throw enough to know how strong his arm is but I'm sure he can wing it as well.

Love the energy and spirit he brings. Neal was a very good OC, but he rarely raised his voice from what I saw. We will be more of an aggressive, risk taking offensive team in 2015, I do believe.

i know holgerson called every play that wvu ran ;) but when you look at the way clint trickett performed last year and this year... he got way better. i was very suspect of him at fsu and never saw his production coming with what i saw there.... with more talent around him. that's coaching! i hope it was atleast a little bit of dawson and not just all holgs;) !!!!

Love the enthusiasm, I really hope this is a home run hire that it's starting to look like.

I realize it's just a three min video but he seemed a lot more involved with Drew and coaching him up. Don't know if that is a indication of the qb race but maybe.

Loved his interaction and hands on approach. What is the main difference between him and coach Brown in practices? I don't recall him being that into the practice but I could be wrong on that.
What do you guys that played think of him and his style in his approach.

Be the first to admit that I was skeptical of his hiring and remain so until I see him calling plays in games, but so far I really like his enthusiasm and more importantly passion for the game. It will rub off on his players and add confidence in each of them. Just want to see a much more aggressive/attacking offense and swagger in their step. Do believe the QB's will be better coached but as we all know we have to start betting much better production out of the Oline.
