4-Star QB (and UT commit) already on campus for the weekend, per (his) Twitter. Also was offered by Auburn today.

Brother UK walk-on, right? Doesn't UT have 3 other 4* QBs committed, 2 in the '15 class and another in the '16 class?

He hasn't said anything on twitter, but it's very safe to assume after, being that he's already in Lexington.. lol

He's in Lexington this weekend. Keith Neibur (sp?) posted a tweet that Kendall was making plans to visit Auburn in the near future, but then he deleted the tweet.

He posted a picture of him and his brother on Woodland Street in Lexington standing in front of a giant snowpile, So yes, I think Rhavicc has seen him, as has anyone else who follows him on Twitter.

Thanks DA.

You know what chaps my ass - both Neibur and Chad Simmons, so-call national recruiting analysts both retweeted Kendall's tweet about getting offered by Auburn, but neither even mentioned he was visiting UK this weekend.

Hell, you should be used to that by now, UK is the Rodney Dangerfield of the FB community.

Frankly, until we start earning it on the field, we won't start earning it with MOST national recruiting guys. It is what it is. Hoping this is the season Stoops starts opening some eyes.

No, actually I think he was OK with the two they had committed before he committed, but started to wonder after they added a third to the 15 class, all of whom would have had a very valuable years head start on him for their whole career. And I think their resident QB that some think is the best in the SEC was only a three star, so you never know how some will develop, out of three four stars at least one should turn out pretty good.

Pisses me off too but the money sites cater to schools with large fan bases. Auburn, FSU, Bama, etc get all the coverage. If UK can flip him maybe that, and Ws, will get their attention.

I'm pretty much flipping you off right now. Just my way of rubbing it in when I'm right after people make smart*** remarks.

Par for the course. Go read today about the Joker Phillips Florida recruiting violation. Joker was aided and abetted by an internet national recruiting "analyst".

Florida got ripped off. They got Joker and recruiting violations?

Kendall and DeWeaver are more or less choice 1A and 1B by the staff if I'm not mistaken. I think both would be takes. I think the staff may favor Kendall a little more at this juncture. Would be an absolute stellar commit.

He's a good player, UGA recruited him and Jacob Eason hard early in the process. Both knew we were taking one qb and Eason committed first so communication stopped between us. Anyway, those were the 2 qb Richt targeted for 16, I know Richt has his faults, but spotting qb talent isn't one of them, one of the best in country in that department.

No doubt about Richt's ability to evaluate QB prospects.

I have nothing but good things to say about Richt. If I had to come up with a complaint it may be that he's a little too clean or too nice......but that's really not a complaint.

These sites such as Rivals, 247, etc. are nearly as dirty as the coaches. Everything is funneled toward keeping the big players in power. Hell, these all-star camps may as well be held on Alabama's campus with all the runners and agents they have present and/or working there. It's despicable. Maybe the revealing that Joker was "aided and abbetted" by an "analyst" will cause someone to put the kabash on these jerks.

You are surprised that they are blowing Malzahn? Seriously? Come on, haven't you figured out the way the game is played? These internet gurus probably spend a lot of time on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail being comped start to finish by alums from Auburn and Bama, as well chilling on South Beach on some Miami alum's tab, yada, yada, yada. "Charge it to the Underhills" is probably their favorite inside joke phrase.

UK needs an alum to start putting them up at the Marriott when Keeneland is running, having them driven to Keeneland for the races, putting $1,000.00 in their fists to play the ponies, and introducing them around the set. Hell, throw in a round of golf at the local course of their choice, and another $1,000.00 to hit a gentleman's club.

I'm pretty certain that if I am right (maybe, I am not really sure of myself on this theory) there is next to nothing the NCAA or SEC can do about it but suck eggs.

I hate to keep harping on this, but he isn't just a four star, he is a 6.0 four star. That is right next to being a five star. And you can bet he has had a lot of people looking at him.

How great would it be to get him and the 4-star receiver out of Niceville (Haynes alma mater and Ware's rival) ... to go along with the #1 Center (of course, they would all be dropped to a 2-star by NSD)??

Where's Daffy??

If they're going to do this, you can bet it will with hoops recruits first.

UK hoops doesn't have to take ANY chances, we already have the best of everything, including coaching. Cal would be stupid to take any chances like that, and while his critics have accused him of a lot of things being stupid isn't one of them.

UK has proven for decades that we have the fan base and resources to be competitive at any level in a lot of sports, they just haven't bothered to do it with football until quite recently------in fact it appears that some misguided fans AND leaders have tried to put it down if anything.

No reason we can't have both, no reason both can't be successful, and in fact complement and help each other. UK basketball makes a ton more money than any other SEC program. Which just makes the previous penny pinching with football even more stupid and unexplainable.

I don't really think that alumni at the big schools are comping the writers who do the ranking of the players. Now I definitely think there is a huge bias with the rankings but I think it's based more on the number of subscribers. For years Bama boasted of having the highest number of subscribers to Rivals, a kid commits to Bama and got a boost the next ranking, name Bama as a leader, gets a boost. Of course AU will do anything it takes to compete including having multiple subscriptions to the same site. With the hiring of Butch, UT fanbase got active again, plus with Butch begging for UT commits to get a boost in rankings they have moved up to. Its good business to keep your best customer happy, the people running these sites know that and the schools with the highest numbers get the benifit when rankings are released. Want a better ranked class, have more fans buy subscriptions. Of course everyone at Rivals and the other sites will deny that but any successful business person will tell you to keep your best customer happy.

Speaking of Jones, he's run off 2 more guys. That's at least 12 since the end of the season. One would think that'll eventually blow up in his face.

Yeah, looks like taking 30 commits a year at TU isn't going to be a problem.
