Cats will be 9-2 in their first 11 games of the past two seasons. Need to finish strong this year but the schedule breaks nicely before and after Auburn game to set up a successful 2nd half of the season.

Cats should have wins against EKU, Charlotte and Vandy(although they are better, we are not losing that game)

Cats have a shot against Auburn, UT, and UL with it being a home game. Believe we take 2 of those.

Cats have a punchers chance against MSU and GA. Probably better chance against MSU than Georgia.

We're a blown TD pass away from being 5-0 after next weekend. You can't ask for much more than that if you're a Cat fan...2-1 in SEC feels good right now!

Yeah...obviously, the biggest difference b/t this year and last is the competition up to this point. Last year, the cupcakes had already been played at this point. This year, although Vandy looked much tougher yesterday, 3 of them still remain, w/ 2 of them to finish the season [winking]

UK fans will start to understand what depth really means the second half of the season. Something KY has not had in my lifetime. It's still not where Stoops wants it to be, but this team will handle the second half of the season better than last year.

Not just that, but we'll have a bye in the middle of this season. Two longer breaks around the auburn game. Time for Swindle and Meant to heal before that game. And everyone else can rest after it.

We were talking about this yesterday. Even after the 5-1 start last year it was hard to look at the rest of the schedule and find that 6th win. I'm a lot more confident this year being 3 and 1 about getting to a bowl game (maybe even a decent one) than I was last year after being 5 and 1.

November may be the easiest month this year. Beside Georgia there are no good opponents that month. In all honesty uk should get seven wins, and perhaps eight.

If we get 8+ wins, Stoops should be up for some national COY honors. Definitely SEC COY.

The main thing is we have to avoid that midseason slump like we endured last season. I think we are much better equipped to avoid it this year due to a better schedule and more depth. We'll see.
