The funny thing, at least to me, is UL could've easily saved some face if they just went ahead and cleaned house and self imposed, from the very beginning. Instead, they stuck their heads in the sand and now have their coach running around saying the most bizarre stuff. Also, him calling out the media will do them no favors at all especially with the dumpster fire that university has going on. Once those Ls start piling up in ACC play well see the wheels completely fall off.

As they get into conference play and more exposure due to the opposition (if nothing else) they will find a double edge sword waiting for them. In road games the fans will be brutal (not like the nice ones at UK) if they win they will draw the attention of the media, it won't be like UNC or Duke where the scandal is ignored or if they lose they will sink into mid pack mediocrity with nothing that draws notice other than the scandal.
