I am way to lazy to verify this but i pulled the following off of UL's board(of all places)...
There were 75 six win teams with 80 spots to be filled as of the info posted below. Since then, Minnesota, Illinois and Lousiana Lafayette have lost. That means there are still only 75 6 wins teams as of now, with 3 games next week with teams sitting at 5-6. So at least 2 5-7 teams will be in bowls and possibly as many as 5 depending on the 3 games next week........should UK push for one of these spots?? Up for debate but personally i say yes.
Now, there are 6 teams left that can become bowl eligible, with 5 spots remaining to be filled.
One Win from Bowl Eligible (4)
(975/25) Minnesota 5-6 (Wisconsin) 330pm LOST
(973/33) Illinois 5-6 (Northwestern) 330pm LOST
(943/110) South Alabama 5-5 (@Ga Southern 2pm, App State) GAME NEXT WEEK
(940/117) Georgia State 5-6 (@Ga Southern) GAME NEXT WEEK
Two Wins from Bowl Eligible (2)
(976/23) Kansas State 4-6 (@Kansas 4pm, WVU) GAME NEXT WEEK
