While our 1-2 record is deceiving despite our inability to tackle, we should be 3-0. Gave game away on 4th down and 3 from midfield vs. Tulsa up 4 2 min left.... 4th and 1 up 7 from own 25 mid 3rd and 4th and 3 down 7 start of fourth. Lead to 10 instant points. Yes, gave them away. 2 INT (both within last 3 minutes of each game while losing), 0 fumbles but 1/4 on 4th downs this year. Thickheaded coach after leading nation last season, converting 26/31.

But as stated, as if you need any reason to cover 24...... starting all-MAC QB got hurt 2nd quarter last week (hurt leg sliding) not to return, best WR got hurt late, and 2 CB got hurt, one on last play of half, I think one will be ok.

Our coach was in NFL for years and will likely not release any injury info but guessing we will be severely shorthanded, already having best WR, a top K returner in country out for season before it started.

Hoping the beer and bourbon and good trip will make up for the game!

We have great luck... Some might even say amazing luck, when it comes to backup QBs. You all need to hope and pray that your backup plays even if your starter is healthy. Which, hopefully he is.

I watched the last 1/3 of the Vandy NIU game, and honestly, it came down to the fact that NIU just could not cover Shepherd, Vandy's best WR, probably their best player. They just went to him over and over and NIU couldn't stop it.
