It's a fair article. The only good thing that will come of this, is that it will probably piss a lot of people off...especially those who have received sanctions for much less (IU, Cuse, Memphis, etc.) UNC is going to skate. There won't be riots in the street, or hanging effigies ablaze, but there will be no doubt that the NCAA is 100%, without a doubt, void of any type of integrity.
I am pretty certain no level of punishment would satisfy me. Short of vacating 3 decades of games, I will be disappointed.
If the take down the banners and put locks and chains on the Dumb dome doors (which I would gladly provide) and they are banned for the next two years and Ole honest Roy's supply of coke colars and moon pies are cut off I would be happy !
they will not get punished like they should. I would love to see a banner come down, but that won't happen (I can only dream) the NCAA will drag it out until UNC is looking at multiple years of rebuilding and ol roy is looking at retirement, then the NCAA might give them 2 seasons of post season ban...it will be a joke at best
It isn't the NCAA dragging this out but UNCheats by coming up with new trivial violations and requesting extensions! They have played this to be able to keep competing and hopefully wear everyone else out. Hope the latter doesn't happen.
