They are playing this in Ft Worth, TX and it may be one of the coldest bowl games on record. It was 13° when they kicked off with 25 mph winds. Now it is about 10°.

I am sorry but that would not be a fun game for me. Brutal cold is not entertaining to me. But I am not 18 or 20 years old. When I think of bowl games, I think of 80° and palm trees.

When UK played North Carolina in the 1976 Peach Bowl it was cold but I don't think it was as cold as this one. But cold is cold.

Well it’s going to be about 15 degrees in Nashville for our Bowl. Just bad luck that a once in a life time brutal artic blast is going thru the nation. It sucks for everyone

Air Force was impressive. Good team. Never thought they could dominate Baylor in Texas.

No nil with them. Just guys playing football. Coach seemed like a terrific classy guy.

Easy to pull for them. 10 win team

Cold cold game.

Are you insane? Not that anyone can predict the weather 9 days out, but it's listed as being 66 in Nashville that day. It's 10 degrees there right now, sure. I was that MCB against Clemson, and froze my ass off.

As a hs Sr, one of the local clubs sent our football team to Peach Bowl. Miserable night game played at Georgia Tech'S stadium. Around 20 degrees, wind blowing, about 3 inches of snow on the ground. I think it was North Carolina and Arizona or Arizona St. JD Hill was their star. Weather was so bad the officials announced before halftime that those on school busses and chartered buses would be wise to start returning home.about 80 mile trip took nearly 5 hours to get home.

I always pull for Air Force as my second team, since I am an Air Force vet. Coach Stoops would have loved the time of possession in this one 40 to 20.
I do too kycatfan, although I am an Army vet. But I have a granddaughter at the USAF Academy and I like to see them do well. You have to root for your family. They have a solid football program and do well in other sports too.

I was surprised they dominated Baylor the way they did.

No not insane at all. Earlier it was forecast to be a high of 15. It has now changed as this arctic blast was suppose to be here for a couple weeks has changed as well. And right now it’s -3 I live here

Oddly enough, I attended the 2006 MCB vs Clemson and about roasted, it was unusually warm and sunny and I was on the sun side, got light headed standing up to cheer late in the game (of course, I may have been over served by then as well)

PS: Paper said the AFB last night was the coldest game Baylor has ever played

I love the service academy teams. Regardless of the talent level they lay it all on the line for their teammates and their branch of the service. They are willing to fight and die for their country. Can't ask for more than that.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the service academy model is what Vandy should imulate. They’ll never recruit with anyone in the SEC, the school is to academically prestigious to ever invest heavily in budgets and facilities, and they have a top 10 program as an instate rival.

Sure it isn’t sexy but Vandy running triple option with some twist would be more sustainable than their current product. I mean, they beat us this year largely bc they had to go to a running QB combined w a solid RB and they RPO’d us to death with our Lynn Bowden playbook.

I was at the 06 bowl as well. A complete 180 from the bowl in 10 temperature wise.

I was at the Peach Bowl in 76. Yes it was cold, but we sat on the sunny side of the stadium and we were comfortable. I had friends who sat in the shadows and they were miserable.
