Haake going to get his chance to start and take the starting role from Thompson. We've had some very poor luck this year with injuries.

Agreed, though at least we haven't had any season-ending injuries (knock on wood). Will be interesting to see if Ming starts Justin Lewis on Saturday instead of Sunday...

^ Yep. UK will need to get their bats going like they did in Houston and take advantage of opportunities with runners in scoring position, and Haake, Harper, and Ramsey, among other guys on the pitching staff will need to step up in a big way. Glad that they didn't have a mid-week game with the Murray cancellation, as the staff should be fresh aside from Thompson being unavailable.

I don't think he moves anyone around. Lewis has been on Sunday and I think he likes that role.

In a twisted way this is a bit of a good thing. UK, imo, is going to Haake to pitch on Sarurdays. This will give him some experience starting against the big boys and will help us in the long run. Plus, Thompson can work some out of the bullpen and that could get him back on track. So, after this, if Thompson doesn't have a long term injury, they could both come back stronger and better for UK.

Haake is an interesting problem. He's draft eligible after this year. So, you want to use him a lot, but also need to develop others because there is a highly likelihood that he goes to the draft after this year.

Would feel better about Haake if he can get that cast off soon. He will probably be good for 4 or 5 innings as a starter, so Ramsey, Schenzer, Coleman etc. Should be ready to help out !

Saturday will be by committee. Hjelle needs to go long on Friday
