Are we in for another 150-95 type beating at KU?

Well, last night I watched one of the prettiest displays of basketball I've seen in a long time. And then tonight, it was one of the ugliest. Calling it basketball is an insult to teams who actually play the sport. So if you just base it off that small sample size, I'd say yes; we'll need divine intervention to keep it under 25-30.

This UK team @ Kansas will take a 35+ point beatdown. Not as bad as the drubbing the OP referenced but, it may be the worst loss in Cal's time at UK.

Won't be worse than what we did to them last year, and I'm positive they haven't forgotten that. Shit like this makes losing last year just so ridiculous. He has the best team by a landslide last year, and the best team in 2010, and couldn't pull it off. I just don't understand. I'm find with winning a title and losing EVERYONE and having a horrible team the next year ... I'm not ok with losing in a final four (absolutely pointless) losing everyone and having a terrible team.

2012 would have been really hard to mess up ... Anthony Davis would not be denied.

150-95 happened because Pitino pigheadedly refused to stop full court pressing and running the entire game, even when it was obvious KU was eating it up. And Roy Williams got pissed off at Pitino for doing that and thus kept pouring it on until the end. It was essentially the clash of two oversized coaching egos that caused that 55 point beatdown.

Cal ain't Pitino. We won't see that again. But it could ugly, I'm guessin KU wants some payback for last year.

My god you guys are dumb asses. We'll lose at Kansas yes. But we won't be down 30 at half. It'll probably be like tonight. Get down double digits. Have it around 10 at half. Give us some hope in the second half before quitting once KU gives them a final punch and wins by about 15-20.

Perry Ellis was guarding Ken Sailors in a game back in May of 1934 and to be able to shoot over him he jumped to shoot. It was the first ever jump shot taken in a basketball game.

We seem to play our better games when the competition is high. I think we will keep it close. Our guys play down to the competition more than any team I have ever seen.

Perry Ellis learned the jump shot from Harry Sadler(who was the first person to shoot one) Harry went to WKU, I think he was their leading scorer till Clem came along. Harry played in the late 30's or early 40's
