That's the magically accepted number for a full class?

I keep up with commitments, but not the battles themselves. Are we going to hit 20? Who are the most likely commits besides the big DB from Miami.

No, that is not the magically accepted number for a "full" class, that is usually 25 and even counting the two transfers (not sure if they count or not, think they shouldn't, just the 85 limit) we would be saving three commits for next years much better class.

Transfers do not count against the SEC 25 LOI limit. Nor do they count against the NCAA 25 initial counter limit.

20 is the number of recruits that Rivals counts in determining the team class ranking. IE if you sign more than 20, they only use the top 20 to determine your team point total.

According to the LHL female reporter for some reason they were counted against the 25 count. Don't understand why but it's been verified on a couple of sites.

She recently said the UK press release inadvertently said the two transfers would count but that was incorrect. They will only count toward the 85.

Ahh, so then we are shooting for 25? I'm guessing we don't get that many. I know NSD is in a few hours, but how many targets are we after that haven't signed already?

I think the staff is shooting for about 20 actual LOIs and also adding the two Nebraska transfers which do not count against the 25. I think the staff holds on to several schollys for late qualifiers, JUCO guys after the spring semester, etc, unless they get some big flips on signing day. This is just my guess.

Therrel Gosier / WR from Florida recently de-committed from Miami

Kayaune Ross / WR would be a juco transfer had publicly stated he was committing to UK last week but then changed his mind unsure exactly what happened.

Courtney Miggins / DT another juco transfer says Miss. St. is his favorite but UK still in the running.

Isiah Scott / Athlete from Ohio brother committed to Michigan St. just recently was offered by UK

Marcus Lewis / CB the big back from Florida you were referring to.

There are several others that are already committed, so they would have to be flipped, not sure if anymore has been added to this list with the recent developments over the last week. I believe we get to twenty no problem but it also wouldn't surprise me if we flipped a few kids and got to 25 either.

Marcus Lewis is from DC......being recruited by Miami and Florida State....

I stand corrected was In a hurry while typing, keep getting him and Gosier confused been doing this for some reason lately. I'm not seeing Florida St. getting him to many commits at that position now Miami worries me.

Thats good because it didn't make sense when she wrote the story. I saw a post where one of the mods verified it with her thats where I got my info. So glad she was wrong.

No, but they do count towards your 85 man scholarship roster.

UK has them posted on their recruiting board. They are 2 of the 21 signed so far. Don't know if they will count towards the 25 or just towards the 85. Like most said, I thought only towards the 85. So 19 new signees as of 9:45.

Live stream website has the signee board, and they have * on each of them and the early enrollees, except Love and Hart each have another * that says they do count toward the 15 class numbers.

Far as I know there is no standard definition of a "signing class" or "2015 class". So, UK can claim the transfers are part of the "signing class" if they wish.

However, unless the rules have changed recently, they do not count against the SEC 25 man LOI limit nor do they count against the NCAA 25 man initial counter limit. Obviously they will count against the 85 man limit.
