For me, it all starts with Mark Pope.
We can debate the last few years, the good, the bad, but I think everyone can agree there was a large amount of negatively and despair often around UK Basketball during the season and off season. It just seemed like no matter what, there would be good times only to have more bad crap come up.
With Mark Pope, it just feels like a new environment; one that is positive and more a team approach.
This team we have seems to be the closest to an old-style Kentucky team, one that played for the name on the front more than the one on the back.
It is refreshing feeling to watch again.
Teams are going to have bad days no matter what. It's the memory of coming back from 31 down at LSU that lives forever with UK fans, no the record of that year. Effort and attitude. That is what Mark Pope has brought back.
