They have us as a 13 point favorite against a very good ASU team. I thought it would be lower.

yea that seems high, If i was making an honest spread i would say 6 or 7.

never know what vegas knows ... but they know things lol

Its because, unlike many on this board, Vegas realizes all the variables that went into that game:
A. Ulis' elbow not fully healed.
B. Lee gets hurt earlier while playing less than 5 mins.
C. Poythress progression from major knee surgury still not complete.
D. First road gm of season.
E. UCLA played way over their heads.
This aint that hard to grasp, though so many knuckle heads on this board dont get it.

ASU is the type team that will give us trouble. I am not sure that this team is ready to play well, against a physical opponent. If we don't play better than the last two games, we could lose. I don't think we will, but we have to have a better effort. Thank goodness this one is in Rupp.

They've got 1 player that pretty much makes the team.. Good coach but would take the CATS -12 all day.. They'll probably beat the hell out of ASU today..

Vegas has to get even action on both sides so the spread will be larger because we always bet for the win.

Still think so? Any team that plays physical and plays some zone, is going to give us trouble. Until they quit giving up double digit offensive rebounds, and start shooting, even a little bit, they are going to struggle with teams like ASU.

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:For a team that can't make an outside shot, no defense, and can't rebound...not so bad.
