Saw it on PTI. I guess he told the media that he could see himself averaging a double double next season. Something like that.

Anyways, can he?

Can he average a double double as (essentially) a rookie, with Kobe in the starting lineup?

Hahahahahahahaha

No.

Jwat you don't know what your talking about.

As a Laker fan... he can do this pretty easily.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he can average that. But, I definitely wouldn't hold out any hope. I'm pretty sure there are less than 5 PFs averaging a double double in points and boards last year, and all of those guys are probably max contract/all star players.

I like Randle, and I think he will be a good player in time, but between Kobe and Hibbert, there is very, very little chance that he averages those figures, especially on the boards where he is at a disadvantage with his wingspan.

And just for the record, I love Kobe.

Seems as though some have forgotten how hard and manly he plays. Not to mention he has decent touch and some already nice post moves. Provided his health is 100% double double should be real close to his average. Randle ia a true beast, with heart. Dude can ball and brings it consistently.

It will be interesting to see how Randle does this year. Neither Russell or Randle impressed much in the summer league.

People act like a double/double is nothing.

10 guys averaged 10 rebounds per game last year, 12 if you count Dwight Howard and Hassan Whiteside (who both missed too many games to qualify). Those 10 were DeAndre Jordan, Andre Drummond, DeMarcus Cousins, Pau Gasol, Tyson Chandler, Nikola Vucevic, Zach Randolph, Anthony Davis, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Greg Monroe.

If Randle can do it, awesome, but that's a really high bar.

Yeah, I doubt he even plays enough to have a really good chance at it. Bass will get some minutes, and Hibbert will rebound well

The difficult thing in gauging Randle's ability is that he has only played around 40 competitive games in the last 3 years. Out with injuries 2 of the last 3. Strong as an ox but he doesn't have as much experience as the typical player his age. Good luck to him. Stay healthy, Julius.

Hubert rebounds pretty poorly for being 7'2'' (never been a fan). If Randle stays healthy and fights for rebounds like Rodman, I believe he can average 10. Points will be dependent on put backs, so I'll say 8 and 10.

Yeah, I can't see him pulling down 10 boards a game. Very hard to do for an undersized PF who tends to play below the rim at times. Hope he can do it, though. .
