Anyone Else Pulling For CSU?

I'm not a huge fan of Deion Sanders' cockiness. Tries to be a smart@$$ by giving all his players sunglasses after CSU coach says something about Deion wearing them during post game interview. Think he needs to be brought back down to Earth.

They beat an overrated TCU and a god awful Nebraska. That's it.
Beat Oregon and USC. THEN I'll be impressed.

Meh…he’s building a brand. Recruits are taking notice. It’s marketing at its finest. I picked them to go 7-5 after week 1. I still think they finish in that 7-5/8-4 range. But it will be fun as hell to follow.

That’s a common opinion. It’s like when Miami football started winning and the brand of the “U” was born. You either like it or you hate it. We just happen to be on opposite sides of the liking it or hating it.

Oh, I hated the "U" and still not wild about it. Part of that is Miami might as well been a convict squad for a lot of that period. I'll never forget when cocky as hell Miami got schooled by cool and calm PSU. I also hate Ohio St when they do the "THE Ohio State". They then further became annoying as hell when the tried to trademark THE.

Again, I don't mind a little cockiness, part of life is saying "ha ha I'm better than you." I just hate it when it becomes your only selling point/personality.

He’s ultimately not hurting anyone, so I can’t really get too worked up about Deion, although I can understand how he rubs some people the wrong way. I might end up being for him in this game if I’m being honest though.

CSU are the ones taking most of the cheap shots on the field so far, and their coach was defending it and trying to play the victim in his sideline interview a minute ago.

Interesting what Deion is doing there and good for Colorado for their start so far but good God he needs to stop running his mouth and making everything so personal. That team is acting like a bunch of big shots when they haven’t won anything yet. All that arrogance and cockiness will eventually come back to bite them. Prime knows he needs some dudes in the trenches. He's said it a few times. And it's showing tonight. Otherwise, the cockiness and constant TV interviews is just him marketing the program and recruiting. I've always liked him, from his days as a player to now. But so many casuals jumping on the CU bandwagon and the constant ESPN slobbering is a little irritating.

Also teams have tape on Colorado now and are adjusting. Shedeur's taken some monster hits in this game. I hope they come back and win though. A loss would take some luster off next week's game in Eugene.

Regardless of how this game goes, I think Oregon and USC humble Colorado the next couple of weeks.

The Buffaloes lack of depth is also going to hurt them down the stretch. Colorado State can win this game if they can extend drives because Colorado doesn't have adequate defensive replacements.
