Based on the last couple of weeks, I will hold off judgement until I see our run in the NIT or if we snag a win in the tournament play in game.

Hell if the Cats lose too many more, there will not be a march unless they win the SEC tournament which Cal has done very little of over the last 6 or 7 years.

Valid point though, doing it mid-season does not help your program. As unlikely as it may be, hope 2024 Cal finds 2014 Cal and turns things around for a March run. Then after that last loss release the kracken! Actually even if did miraculously win last 6 games I’m not sure he would be supported.
They did this same crap when the end was near with Tubby as well. Everybody loves our coach when he's not good. Funny how most talking heads didn't care for Cal and his ways when he was winning. Now suddenly they will offer up support. I'm not mad though, I do the same thing when I see our rivals dealing with crap coaches. It's all good.
I actually like Jay Williams most of the time. But, he's just yapping to get attention here. He knows nothing is happening with Calipari until after this season or possibly even next year. No AD fires their $8.6 million coach with another 5 years guaranteed on their contract, in the middle of the season.

I was going to say the same thing. They hammered us over wanting to get rid of Tubby. They also criticized us for wanting to dump Gillispie after 2 years when he was a total trainwreck. They always want to keep us down by making us sound better than we are.

Williams brings nothing but biased opinions to the table, another ACC crony who can't hide his true feelings. What makes him think this March will be any different from the last several years. We are losing to unranked teams at home and can't play defense, looks like another early exit right now.
