Does the Lexington paper have a UK sports section? The Atlanta paper recently started one for UGA and its pretty good. Its free and it has many updates before the pay sites have them out. Of course it's slanted to UGA, but its called the Dawgvent, lol. It has stories about recruits, opponents, interviews of current players


Of course this is assuming you are near Lexington, but I am sure the paper would have a website too. If they don't someone should suggest it would be a welcome addition. Could call it the Kathouse.

The LHL has a section on their website under UK Sports called "Next Cats", and it has separate sections for BB and FB recruiting. The FB recruiting section has actually improved over time. They don't necessarily scoop the paid sites, but they do post links from a wide variety of sources (recruit's local paper, etc.).

Are you kidding? Local paper has an acrimonius, caustic relationship with UK athletics. Next positive article will be the first.

Most of the 2016 commits were there. I'll just say that if any of them would back away from UK based on this one game, then they probably weren't that committed to UK in the first place, and both they and UK would be better off if they went somewhere else. NOT saying that's happened at all, just making a hypothetical statement.

I think most of the takeaway from the game for a recruit is positive. It certainly isn't as if we just took a Curry-esque beat down. It astutely observed by other posters, however, that we just lost to a very young Florida team.

In Nevada prostitution is legal (local option, not in Clark Co/LV), so I think they might already have that name wrapped up. Of course TU might have been using it before the NCAA outlawed their "Orange Pride".

I'm an old country boy Jauk, I don't know much about bright lights and big cities. But sounds like an interesting place.
