I was looking on ESPN and saw that our non conference schedule is already posted. Albany and NJIT both had over twenty wins last season and won a lot of games late. The fact that these are our first two opponents will be a nice warm up for Duke. Those teams can be competitive and make UK fight through some adversity. UK will win in decisive fashion but it won't be some thirty point beat down from start to finish.
Other than that I know Illinois state was good last year. I don't think wright state and south Florida had good teams last season. Boston I know was competitive but they didn't exactly have the best season last year either.
All in all I know in past seasons UK has had to fight through adversity to get the win against a mid major. Do any of the mid majors this year have the potential to give us a competitive game like Columbia and buffalo did last year?
