Any guesses where the Wade twins end up ?

I wish them the best, truly, but at the same time, I no longer care where they end up at, I just know it wont be here so. I did see a post that they have a Colorado visit scheduled

Deion Luwynn Sanders loves him some transfers. He doesn’t mind having a brand new team each year kinda like our guy Cal.

To be fair- he only had one season at Colorado and he needed to do exactly what he did. He wont have 50 plus new kids every year - Cal truly has a new team every year lol

Will look back on this as a defining moment. K Wade was a starter here next season. D Wade needed to switch positions to see the field. My guess at the EOD is Middle Tenn but be warned, Derek Mason does not play games. You will get what you earn.

MTSU would be my guess too. Glad to see Derek Mason get that job, he's a good man.

He made some high school girl tweet saying something like "They tried to hold me back, but this is god's plan."

You didn't earn the starting spot at UK. You're not going to go to Colorado and take it from Shadeur who is A. Pretty good, and B. The coach's son.

Whatever.

He got to play in the bowl game. Didn't do anything to stake a claim for the starting spot.

Guessing the Wades didn’t reach out to Vito or Smoke who both transferred to Colorado and never played.

Good luck to them. I do worry what this will do to Destin’s career trajectory.

I don’t understand the thought process. He’s not playing over Sanders. 1 he’s the coaches son and 2. He’s quite literally a NFL prospect. I guess maybe me thinks next year he’ll get a shot but personally I sincerely doubt it

Yeah, I was going to say Destin will play about as much as Tisdale/Smoke. As for Keaton....wow.

Best of luck too them. Betting this was the best offer for the both of them. No way decent SEC/ACC/Big 10 schools want them both, plus the parent drama.

Give Prime credit, he's learning, at least this portal season he got himself a bunch of O linemen.

Still a head scratcher that those two transferred to Colorado. I just don't get it.

Especially Smoke who was getting touches here. Handful of plays a game.

As far as the Wade twins. I'd like to know the pitch. It wouldn't be NIL money because Colorado isn't going to be able outbid UK. It would've had to been a shot at QB for Destin after Shaduer leaves, but we all know Prime and Colorado will be a destination for decent transfer QBs and probably high school talent as well.

I'm afraid the linebacker Wade is making a big mistake.
If Keaton is hitching his wagon to his brother's chances of playing QB somewhere, he's going to take a big step down. If he can convince Destin to be open to playing another position with a better chance of seeing the field then he might be OK.

Keaton should be a good addition to a Colorado defense that could use his help. For Destin, there’s no chance he plays over Shedeur, so all I can figure is that they must have promised him a shot to win the starting QB job in 2025 since their prized recruit for that class decommitted. I doubt he wins it based on what we’ve seen from him, but I guess there’s enough uncertainty there that he saw an opportunity since he seems opposed to a position change.

After this year, not convinced that Prime is as good a coach as the media makes him out to be. A motivator, a recruiter - yes. 4-8, 1-8 in the conference, doesn't scream (yet) that he's a finished product as a coach. Keaton should play a lot (as he would have at UK). Can't see Destin getting any snaps at all at QB with Prime's son starting. Why they ended up there where Destin will, once again, be a backup QB who will limited/no snaps is a puzzler. Add in the fact that Deion may very well move on after Shadeur goes to the NFL and if CU has a better season such that he's hotly pursued by much bigger, better jobs.

If Destin was open to switching positions, why go elsewhere? I just don't think he is open minded about switching and thinks CU will be a better QB opportunity for him. I'll have to see it to believe it.

Don't give a popcorn fart where they go, but I do care that 9 million dollar Mark Stoops threw a bowl game in their behalf and they left anyway.

You better beat Clemson this year, Mark.

While I agree Wade was clearly not ready to play against Iowa in the bowl game, you can't possibly believe Sheron, sans CRod, would have fared much/any better. When our stars opted out, it didn't matter who started and played QB. We had no chance in that game. Part of that is due to neither Sheron nor Wade being as good as Levis and a smaller part is due to neither of them getting any meaningful game snaps other than Sheron's horrible debut vs USC.

Lol so it has nothing to do with starting at QB otherwise Colorado would've been at the bottom of the list.

So now....wonder what it was really about?
