Any doubt about ESPN should now be put to rest

Ok, so someone in the comments section said the writer limited teams to one player, and I guess they had Ulis for UK. Pretty stupid though to have a list like that and have a limit of one per team.

He's not among 50 players who might make an impact? That is very hard to believe and a huge oversight on their part to say the least. I never even watch ESPN other than for some games I want to see and only carried by them. I don't watch any of their other shows at all and haven't for quite sometime now, guess that's for good reason, huh?

Fully agree. If you're the best player on a team going nowhere what difference can you make. Either Ulis are Murray are capable of winning games on a competitive Power 5 team. Now those are difference makers.

Why would anybody paying for ESPN insiders need an arbitrary list by some goober of 50 players anyway?

If you really think about it, there are a number of guys on our team that could have similar impact. Cal said before the season started that Poythress would be the biggest difference maker on the team. So he could be on the list. One could argue that if we get good consistent play out of Lee as one of our front court players that it could be the difference. You could argue the same thing for Skal. Hell even Willis will have a huge impact on our prospects for March.

I hope they made an exception for Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram.

I don't have an Insider account, so I can't verify this, but KSR posted that ESPN has a list of the Top 50 players that can make an impact in March. Apparently Murray is not on the list.

Wow. I guess Canadian players are not eligible for that either?

No. You have to be a "naturally born" Kentucky player. [laughing]
