Excited to watch him this season. I think Gentry is, and has taken all the right steps to let AD's greatness shine. Playing a more up-tempo style, which leads to more possessions, and is advantageous to elite athletes like AD. Plans on actually focusing the offense around Davis, which Monty Williams failed to do (Davis was only used on 25% of the possessions, lowest among all superstar players), Had Davis extend his range out past the 3 point line, which helps in more ways than just points obviously, and finally, the 12 pounds of muscle that AD added over the summer.
Very real possibility that he's the best player in the world this season. Crazy to think about, really.
