I noted this on their Scout board: Bragging about 'best win percentage this decade."

1. Kentucky has the MOST WINS this decade with 249.

2. Kentucky has the BEST WIN PERCENTAGE FOR ALL TIME.

3. Kansas has a slightly better win percentage since 2010 while winning fewer games. Kentucky has played more games because the Cats consistently go further in the NCAA tournament.

4. I wasn't really aware that the Cats had the most wins since John Calipari arrived, but that's not a surprise. UK also has the most NCAA tournament wins. What a fantastic job he's done since arriving at a time the program was threatening to fall off its peak of Greatest of All Time.

Uh, sure you can. It's objectively accurate that they have a couple helms titles as well. It's still a dumb thing to brag about.

Didn't say it wasn't dumb. Said you can't be mad. That's weird. Good for them and their cool winning percentage.

I also think there is nothing wrong with KU touting this stat. We would certainly do the same thing...and we do often. No big deal to me. Ya'll just looking for things to find fault with. Just trying too hard.

We're the leader in wins over the same period and most of us probably didn't even know it, so no, we wouldn't "certainly be doing the same thing".

It's not a big deal, but it is just kindof a silly stat to boast about

Yeah, but Kansas has won 13 or 14 consecutive conference titles in a row. Everybody knows that conference championships are more important than anything. ;)

People, my God.

It's a stupid statistic that doesn't hold water when viewed with further context.

On top of selectively picking an arbitrary time line.

Is it true? Sure. So is 2+2 = 5 in the absence of the number 4.

Ridiculous.

Kansas fans have an enormous inferior complex, especially in comparison to Kentucky. They want to be the best so bad that they will twist anything to make them look better or others worse, even if it is only in their own feeble minds.
Coupled with the fact that most KU fans are liberal & liberals have been consistently found to have smaller brains, it is understandable that these cretins promote worthless statistics like this.

Kansas plays in a conference like Gonzaga, cupcakes and they run the rack yearly. Put them playing in the SEC and ACC and see what happens. Sorry Chokehawks that is the way I see it.

They are pretty selective in their criteria, such as "since 2010", "Helms Titles", etc. They have a really good program, but, they fudge every chance they get to pretend to be the best, which they are not.

they really do focus on factor that is big in terms of regular season...

For UK it's part of, while for KU it's like the entire story.

Who in this thread is "mad"? Think you're missing the point of the OP

Fair enough. It's got someone enough redassed to make a thread on it. Otherwise who cares.

A program trying to gloat and show their worth even if they have to skew timelines to fit their narrative. The horror.

Sounds like it's time to hang another banner in Lawrence.

They need something to brag about since they only have 3 Titles. Pretty weak for a blue blood.
