Devin Booker has been one of the best rookies in the NBA this year and is a starter for the Suns. He's averaging around 10ppg this year and 15ppg in January I believe.

Yet he was left out of the Rising Stars game that has the "best" rookies and second year players. WCS also didn't make it, nor did Julius Randle. Hell Randle is basically averaging a double double at 10 & 9.7. The only UK guys to make it were Towns and Noel.

This, added with DMC/AD/Wall not being a starter in the AS game is ridiculous.

You would think that day would be now but they have still got around putting our guys in. You can google and there are articles about how Booker, Randle and even WCS not making the game is a load of crap.

The problem is, they made it USA vs WORLD. That means a lot of undeserving guys got in because the world team had to be filled. Guys like Booker, Randle and WCS (who does not deserve it, BTW) got snubbed because of the limited USA spots. If you look at the numbers for the USA guys, it's hard to say for sure our guys deserve it.

Randle should have made it over Jabari. I'm fine with Booker not making it given the present format, which is trash.

Freaking Raul Neto made the World team averaging 5ppg and 2 or 3 assists per game. What a damn joke.

And on the US side Marcus Smart is averaging 9/4/3. I guess that's better than Randle's double double per game. Smart himself said he was surprised he made the game. Roy Hibbert said it is "travesty" that Randle didn't make the game.

No big deal in a year or two he will make the team as long as Suns fans actually fill out all star ballots. I think they should do it like baseball in the sense that you are picked by position rather than popularity. Lenord won't last long against the bigs from the east

Once cousins gets out of Sacramento I think he will start making it atleast as a reserve. I do think wall makes it and if they leave the nations best center in Davis out I hope they get beat by 60

Cousins is the best center in the NBA.

Also, Cousins will definitely be a reserve, and Wall and Davis both have a chance to be named. The reserves have not been named yet.

SI has projected the reserves to be as follows...Jimmy Butler, John Wall, Paul Milsap, Chris Bosh, Demar DeRozan, Isaiah Thomas and Andre Drummond from the East. Chris Paul, James Harden, Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Dirk Nowitzki from the West.

They will be announced tonight at 8 PM on TNT.

You mean like he DID last year and will this year. SMDH. For somebody who has Boogie in his screenname you would think you would at least know he made the game.

Thanks for being an arrogant prick about it. My bad the reserves haven't been released yet so I was hoping. It was a damn question thanks for clearing that up in your subtle way of answer the question.

You're welcome. Next time try not getting butt hurt over something that hasn't even happened yet. P

I'm not butt hurt but thanks for the tip. I just think it's retarded you want to make an asinine comment. Hopefully he makes it as I'm sure he will.

With the all star game being a fan vote and the rising stars being USA vs the world, the all star weekend has become a meaningless marketing tool. Not that it was ever anything truly important, but it used to be intended to honor those that were the best. That is clearly no longer the case.
