Another addition to Pope's staff?

He's well connected with recruits. Really would add to a very impressive staff Pope's put together in Lexington if they finalize him with who they already have brought on.
You realize he isn’t a former player right?? I mean, that’s all I’ve heard on here is that we must hire a former player. Forget about this guy’s qualifications, go get Rondo 🤦🏻♂️
Then in the same story the GM role that still needs to be filled they said Mohammed wants to stay in the NBA. I really would love to have a former player with the background like Mohammed to fill that roll. Maybe Hayes , Prince , or even Padgett will come home to fill that roll.
That’s awesome to hear, seems like we have a staff capable of recurring very well into the future now. I also love how they embrace analytics as that has been the way to play sports for a long time now. Why Calipari never tried that blows my mind. Just shows how he won’t adapt from his known ways.
I will say that although I’m no fan of the Mormon angle and would certainly not promote it, they are some good people and the BYU institution is amazing in how they build their brand and programs. I find myself rooting for them to do well in the BIg12 over anyone else. It’s also one of the best venues for basketball when you consider how little it’s talked about. It’s hard as hell to go in there.
Good luck to them moving forward. Go door to door in Lawrence and take their sprit where it belongs.
Rondo literally got arrested last year for drug related charges. No idea why anyone on here thought a university would hire him anytime soon.
