Yes UGA pounded us. We have a big one this weekend that gets us back on the road. A ranked team coming in for a night game. We have to put the last best down behind us. Let’s Go Cats. No matter what you think of our coach or team, we are still 5-1. Yes we have some work to do but who doesn’t. We play in a tough neighborhood. Let’s get back on subject and get it done vs the tigers.

Big dose of Ray Davis to control TOP and keep Cook and Burden on sidelines.
IMO, Coen need to condense playbook to get Leary into easier throws.
Let him dink and dunk to move the chains.
This might also help Brown and Key.
As always the defense has to step up big for UK to get the W.

Go uptempo, use the RBs, and then hit the TEs before going over the top.

We’ve had their number in the same bizarre fashion UT has had ours.

Some of their strangest losses have been to us: the 20 wasted seconds when Josh Allen tipped the ball from the refs’ hands while Mizzou had no timeouts; the Missouri Miracle pass on an untimed play; last year’s roughing the punter 40 yards from the LOS.

I think we are in their heads!!

Let's hope our offensive line stops committing stupid penalties, otherwise the run game will be irrelevant.

O-line is huge is this game because Mizzu. is a very respectable 28th in rushing defense and I can't see us winning without a big game from Davis.
The stats actually say throw it on Mizzu but a lot of three and outs will be a disaster IMO.
I don't trust Leary to win this game but who knows how the staff will gameplan.
I'm leaning toward typical "Stoops ball" pounding it with Davis for sustained clock eating drives.
OTOH, maybe Coen thinks this could be a breakout for Leary vs the #99 pass defense.

I’m worried. Leary’s completion % in SEC games is under 50%. That pretty much makes us one dimensional. It doesn’t take a defensive genius to figure out that if you take away the running game you have a great chance to beat us. And, I’m concerned that we are putting Davis at risk by overusing him. If Davis gets hurt…where does that leave us. I like our defense but you still need to move the ball and score if you want to win. Good teams have a nice run/pass mix. We just don’t have that right now.

LSU rushed for 274 yards last week. 2 RBs over 100 yards that game. Was that because they were able to pass it, AND Missouri had a big lead on them til late? Or were they just good at running the football against that D?

LSU ALSO had 2 WRs over 100 yards in that game. Is that because they are hard to cover or is it because they ran the ball effectively?

2 days ago they said it would be a rainy day with cooler temps and rain at kickoff. Does it favor us on this turf?

Is it all thrown out the window because it's a rivalry game?

Is it a game where both teams wanna take out their recent losses on the other and both wind up with less to show for it, or a bunch?

Should be a fun game between two top 30 opponents, IF YOU'RE PLAYING IN THE GAME. No telling what it will be like to watch. No idea what UK will do on O right now. No clear indication if last game was a fluke in terms of defense.

If Leary is in sync with his receivers and backs, we should be good to go. If not...

GO CATS!!
