Cal said he isn't sure what kinda shape Tai would be in and wasn't sure if Tai would play this year. I'd say it's 60-40 he does play imo. We need his physical presence on this current team.
My understanding was that he was enrolling in class this December, but might redshirt. So that would make him part of next year's incoming class, I guess. But even if he doesn't redshirt, he's not part of the 2015 class, so maybe by default he's part of 2016.
Anywho...color me excited!!!!! It's nice to have a full class before december!! We can all sit back and enjoy this season and focus on 2017!
So long as he arrives after the school year finishes, he is considered the next year, aka 2016.
Coach looks SUPER happy about this class of players. Like downright giddy about coaching Bam. You could tell he got ALL the guys he wanted this time. No misses this time, no Heartbreakers, they all said yes! I bet Coach sleeps good now
I think it's because he first enrolls in school for the Spring 2016 semester. Just like the fall recruits are on campus and with the team before their semester starts, Wynyard will be on campus and with the team before his semester starts.
the first cal-quoted paragraph hive me chills. these boys are on a mission. all early like. they will be a close group the minute they get together on campus. cal keeps outdoing himself. i remember thinking after we lost in 2010 that it will be great but we won't ever get a wall and cousins together like that again. and somehow some way cal has put together multiple classes that you'd have to say are better not maybe on star power but on nba bodies. next year's team will be an absolute juggernaut. and even more orgasmic for bbn, may be one of the most athletic squads to dawn the blue and white.

Well said. The amount to which he can reload is unfathomable. People still talk about the fab five as some recruiting miracle... Cal has pulled in at least three classes that rival or surpass them. And makes it look routine and easy. Even his misses are usually hits (thank you Mudiay, for gifting us Tyler Ulis). These are the goldenest of golden days, soak them up. We haven't lost a regular season game in over 600 days...

We missed on Tatum, Giles, and Bridges and STILL signed a top 5 class all time!
He is joining for second semester. Second semester starts in 2016...hence, he is part of the incoming 2016 class.
Not that it matters, but no recruiting service is going to count Wynyard as part of the 2016 class after he arrives on campus.
What I love is these recruits seem to really fit together - in terms of talent. You could truly have a starting 5 from this crop of recruits that would be very versatile and a nightmare on defense - a team that can switch at every position again. Incredible.

I heard it on the radio but I just did the research: we last lost a regular season game to Florida on March 8, 2014. That is 621 days ago.
