so is he playing tomorrow? They were talking about it during the game last night, about full strength ?

Sucks.. I know he gets in foul trouble and hasn't lived up to expectations but he's still a wildcat and could play a major factor in the outcome of the season.

The knee injury cooks NBA hopes this year. Anyone think he may comeback and finish grad school? I just have this feeling he will be back and hope he can play a full season next yr

I think there hoping he would be back for the BAMA game next week. If not, they are hoping he will be 100% when we go back to back on the road vs. Vandy and then UF before coming home for Senior Day vs. LSU. That is why it is so important that we play well tomorrow in College Station vs. TA&M and get out of there with a Win and come home and take care of business vs. BAMA. That way we would be sitting at 22-6 and 12-3 in the SEC heading into the big Final 3 games which 2 are on the Road vs. Vandy one week from tomorrow and the UF on the following Tuesday and then home vs. LSU on the next Saturday. If we have Alex back for the last 3 games at a near 100% that would help us even more to finish out the SEC 5-0 in these last 5 games heading into the SEC Tourney. We would then be looking at a #3 Seed or even a #2 Seed Selection Sunday probably in the South Region in Louisville. That would be great for Kentucky if we could play the Sweet 16 game and Elite 8 game in Louisville if we take care of business in our 1st and 2nd Round games.

OP, this is a quote of yours from an above thread. Was this in jest?? Do you really care about Alex?? Is this a troll job?? What's the scoop??
What? That was me taking a shot at everybody that was talking NIT.. I stand by the Marcus talk I put out there %100 ... Don't ever put me in the ( troll ) category though.. I understand you went digging or something and found some sh$t... Yeah, it was a jest

Something I've never heard anyone discuss about Poythress. Was this injury the result of a specific event or has he been dealing with it for awhile?

good question - I think we all assumed that he injured pregame vs UF (I think it was UF?). But - I don't think anyone could pinpoint exactly what happened

I figured that it kinda came to a head then. However, those soft tissue injuries can be nagging. Of course, could just be a specific injury too. Would be good for us if it had been nagging him and he can come back without that bother at some point.

And yes........ I vent ........ A lot .........

Right on, just asking. All the old threads being brought up and I saw that. No offense, I'm just over cut nets and zaytoven and some of the regular haters. I hadn't t noticed your posts before and was curious. If BKO says your cool, and you had the courtesy to reply.... You're cool in my book brother. I'm not the board po po either, just vocally hating the haters lately. Sorry

A little more than that, Poy is averaging 10 points and 7 rebounds a game, which leads all big men in both category's...
You're right, but coming off of injury in his first game back...

My first thought about this game is just being short on bodies, but yes, he's more than just 5 fouls.
