On yesterdays call-in show, Kenny Payne said he was doing light jogging and he is hungry to get back on the floor full speed. Cauley Stein visited him and they talked about the mental part of coming back from injury. I think they are easing back into this. I didn't hear him specify a time frame or a game for his return.

The number of odd times and places of UK's injuries remind me of Jim Palmer: his last injury was the result of squeezing a baseball during warm-ups. I once had to go to the emergency room after answering the phone. [I was holding a pen poked myself in the eye, How do you spell "schlimazel"?]

The team needs to prepare and run the show like he won't be there. That way, if he can come back and provide minutes/depth, great. However, Lee, Skal and Humphries should see this as a big opportunity.

As much as we would want Alex out there because he's a Senior and because we need the depth, I honestly don't think the performance or upside of the team is much difference with or without him.

He is coming back this season I mean c'mon they said 2 weeks . I mean sure it might be 3 weeks not 2 possibly but he will be back before the last 3 games I would imagine . I doubt he plays Saturday though.

I've injured myself many times doing stupid things, no doubt.

I'm always shocked that more guys don't get injured during end zone and sideline 'jump and bump'. That's a lot of feet coming down in the same general area, surprising there aren't more rolled ankles.
