Alabama vs UNC

Bama’ s offense is fun to watch.
I’m not sure who I prefer to win. I’m thinking Alabama. It goes against the grain to want UNC to win.
North Carolina reminds me of 2005-06 UK before Sandy Bell found the infamous Randolph Morris fax. Too many guards/wings and basically nothing inside. Problem is—they don’t have a Randolph Morris sitting on the bench in street clothes.
The SEC is going to be brutal and we need to beat Gonzaga for our resume. Might need these early season wins against ranked teams because we’ve going to get beat up in the SEC.
Jackson was a big miss for us. he is a baller.

I don’t think UK is gonna get beat up in the SEC. I think everyone is gonna get beat up. No nights off from playing your best.
Hint on unc dilemma times to me are if they are playing kansas or duke lol. I suggest being a SEC homer.

And? They’ve also stacked up a lot of quality wins over the past few weeks. I don’t think anyone claims they’re unbeatable, but even with a couple of close losses, their schedule has been a net positive for their tournament seeding and preparation for conference play.
This. All I did was compliment them on playing an extremely tough ooc schedule.

How much better would UNC have been if they had just picked someone like Tarris Reed, Jr. from the portal? Not even Osobor - which UNC should have had the NIL budget to go after - but just a good interior role player like Reed. I don't understand that, but I don't follow them closely so I might be missing something there.
The amount of uncontested dunks/layups I saw Bama getting in this game was insane. UNC didn't even pretend to defend. This is the worst frontcourt I've seen a Tar Heels team have in my time watching their program-which is approaching 5th decade. They are awful upfront. Jalen Washington is okay but how does a program like UNC not get anything else upfront?
Think Wrightsell loss sucks-hate seeing any player get injured. That said it'll help with their rotation and roles for the guards. Love Philon's game and think he'll be key for them in Postseason as he can just make plays on both ends that don't require anything other than effort/talent.
